Join our team as a Sanitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe environment in our high-volume bakery production facility. You'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment, floors, and environmental surfaces to meet strict hygiene standards and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize equipment (mixers, conveyors, ovens, etc.) and facility areas (floors, restrooms, lobbies).
- Handle waste disposal and recycling.
- Maintain supply levels (bathroom, PPE).
- Operate sanitation equipment (floor scrubber, power washer, steam cleaner).
- Participate in meetings and report issues to supervisors.
- Support food safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; up to 1 year of related experience.
- Language Skills: Basic reading and writing.
- Math Skills: Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Follow detailed instructions with common sense.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Exposure to noise, mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, and airborne particles.
- Requires use of protective equipment (e.g., hearing protection, safety shoes).
