Europa Village is looking to fill the position of a full-time Warehouse/Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate will be organized, have an eye for attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and must have a minimum of 1 year forklift experience.
Warehouse/Inventory Specialist Reports to:
- Société Director
- Possess and live Europa Village core values.
- To understand and respond to all guest needs and request in a timely and professional manner.
- To follow all specifications to properly accomplish the essential purposes of the position.
- To ensure that the quantity, quality, condition, and type of all goods received matches the purchase order, invoice, and/or freight bill, and meets the resort's standards.
- To procure, as approved, all food, beverage, and non-food items requisitioned by the resort, insuring optimal value for cost.
- To act to resolve shipping and receiving, and overall purchasing issues, in the absence of the Lead Purchasing Agent.
- To rotate stock and inventory in storerooms and all storage locations, as directed, to endure freshness.
- To satisfactorily perform routine support task, as directed, including maintaining and stocking liquor, beer, wine, food, paper & plastic, chemicals, and overall operating supplies in storerooms and picking up/dropping off goods from off-property.
- To deliver all necessary goods and supplies to appropriate departments in a safe and efficient manner.
- To assist in the financial administration of the storerooms, providing all required assistance and reports to the Accounting Department.
- To maintain constant awareness of current market conditions, and develop a network of vendors for company use, in order to be able to advise any resort Director of optimal conditions for purchase.
- Create and foster an environment of “teamwork” by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
- Be able to communicate Europa Village’s story.
- Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
- Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and with appropriate pants and shoes.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed.
