Restaurant Food Runner

Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain. Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared.

Europa Village is looking for a part-time restaurant food runner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Fine dining experience is a plus. Strong customer service is a must.
 
Restaurant Food runner reports to:
·         Restaurant Manager
 
Responsibilities specific to the restaurant food runner:
·         Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables. 
·         Verify that each order is complete and matches the ticket before serving. 
·         Ensure food is presented properly and served at the appropriate temperature. 
·         Communicate with kitchen staff and servers regarding orders, special requests, and issues.
·         Describe items on the menu to guests when necessary. 
·         Assist servers by bringing condiments, refilling water, and responding to guest needs. 
·         Clear used dishes and help maintain clean tables. 
·         Reset tables for incoming guests. 
·         Keep service stations stocked with utensils, napkins, plates, and supplies. 
·         Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas. 
·         Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. 
·         Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned. 
·         Support teamwork by helping servers, bussers, hosts, and kitchen staff during busy periods. 
·         Provide friendly and professional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

·         Arrive on time and ready to work every scheduled shift.
·         Maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform standards. 
·         Maintain food quality by serving dishes promptly. 
·         Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management. 
·         Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns. 
·         Maintain awareness of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials. 
·         Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
·         Demonstrate strong teamwork and support coworkers during busy periods. 
·         Handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. 
·         Contribute to a positive dining experience and high guest satisfaction. 
·         Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic throughout each shift. 
·         Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
