What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Collision Estimator position at EuroMotorcars Collision Center?
Euro Motorcars Collision Center is currently looking to hire an experienced Body Shop Estimator/Advisor for our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet clients in a prompt and courteous manner and discuss repair options
- Cater to client concerns and collect vehicle information
- Determine repair needs based on customer information, vehicle walk-around, and inspections
- Clearly explain the estimate on every customer vehicle
- Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency
- Secure approval from clients prior to all repairs
- Coordinate with insurance companies and apply for supplemental work
- Ensure that all administrative processes are handled in a timely fashion and in compliance with company policies, all state and federal laws and regulations
- Follow up with customers to ensure we have met their expectations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a collision estimator or in a similar role in a reputable body shop
- Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, parts and labor costs
- Proficient in using estimator industry-standard estimating software and tools, showcasing your technical skills to leverage technology for accurate estimates
- Familiarity with insurance claims procedures and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented and organized while handling multiple repairs simultaneously
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Exceptional communication skills to consultant clients, interact with insurance companies and team members
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- OEM Certifications recommended
- I-Car Platinum status or equivalent are preferred
