Role Description The Cabinet Designer role at Euromax is a full-time, on-site/hybrid position based in Pleasant Grove, UT. The Cabinet Designer will collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop detailed cabinet layouts and designs that align with customer needs, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, creating drawings and renderings, selecting materials and finishes, and adjusting designs based on feedback and site conditions. The role involves coordinating with the production and engineer teams to ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and compliant with company standards. The Cabinet Designer will also maintain organized project documentation and support continuous refinement of design processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cabinet and interior space planning, including the ability to interpret architectural plans and translate client needs into functional designs.
- Strong skills with design and drafting software (e.g., CAD-based tools or cabinet design programs - Chief Architect is the main one for now, looking to transition to Solid Works) and comfort working with digital layouts and technical drawings. Experience in Solid Works is prefered but not required.
- Solid understanding of materials, hardware, and construction methods used in custom cabinetry and high-end woodworking.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, sales, production, and installation teams.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in residential kitchen or bath design, millwork, or cabinetry; prior work with luxury or custom projects is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Pleasant Grove, UT, including occasional visits to job sites or showrooms as needed.
- Relevant education or training in design, architecture, interior design, or related fields is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
