Job Title
Desk Side Support
Experienced in Desktop Laptop, troubleshooting
Experienced in installation, configuration and OS troubleshooting
Experienced in Asset Management Should have experience in application support
Knowledge on iPhone configuration

Understanding of ticketing process incident/service requests

Quality Assurance Testing of laptops
Move equipment between Hub/tech Hub, Goods in and Loading Bay
Disposing equipment
Liaising with site facilities for maintenance of the Hub/tech Hub area
Monthly/weekly Inventory audit
Placing Hardware/accessories orders and managing Threshold stock
Handling Customer service support
Deskside Support calls
Receiving equipment from clients and updating stockroom.

Should have worked in Manufacturing & Production line support from IT Perspective

Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Desktop Support Technician located in Belfast. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, supporting desktop computers, printers, and related peripherals. You will provide technical support directly to users, perform troubleshooting, and carry out necessary repairs to ensure smooth IT operations. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with system upgrades and maintaining hardware inventory.
Qualifications

- Experience with technical support and troubleshooting to resolve IT issues efficiently.
- Knowledge and ability to provide comprehensive printer support and maintenance.
- Skills in computer repair and diagnosing hardware or software failures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to handle end-user queries.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications or training in IT support, such as CompTIA A , are a plus.
