Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
- Handle communication and paperwork for all couriers that arrive for BioPharmaceutical Sample Administration
- Receive and unpack sample kits and coolers received at the lab in an efficient and detailed manner with a high degree of quality
- Interpret and register samples into Laboratory Information Management System
- Label samples and select appropriate storage locations
- Enter samples with insufficient entry information into holds; maintain hold area with follow up and routine inventory
- Process internal environmental monitoring samples
- Place samples into storage
- Read, understand, and carry out standard operating procedures, following all safety precautions and procedures
- Handle incoming informational calls and emails regarding expected samples
- Interact with all levels of project managers and technical staff
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies, logical thinking, and deductive reasoning
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
