Job Description
Position Summary: Assists laboratory personnel in any way to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Duties Include
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Dispose of samples once complete
- Place pipettes in washer
- Put away clean glassware, pipettes
- Wash stoppers
- Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to accurately read and record results
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to learn new tasks
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
- Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI lab.
- Other Factors:
- Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area
