Job Description
Biopharmaceutical Operations & Equipment
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot large-scale equipment:
- Bacterial and viral analytical assays.
- Titrations
- ELISA
- PCR
- Operate automated process controllers and perform cell culture in flasks, bioreactors, and fermenters.
- Perform all operations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Write, revise, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete required documentation:
- GMP records, timecards, order requisitions, and reports.
- Handle and store samples properly to ensure integrity.
- Collect and analyze process data using:
- Process control systems
- Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Clean production areas per SOPs.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies.
- Promote and adhere to safety protocols:
- MSDS guidelines, PPE usage, biohazard handling, and safety training.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
- Communicate effectively across teams using verbal, written, and non-verbal methods.

- Hands-on experience or knowledge in:
- Biopharmaceutical production
- Cell culture
- Harvest (centrifugation/filtration)
- Tangential and normal flow membrane filtration
- Chromatography
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques
Schedule & Location
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: 1st Shift — Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, overtime as needed
- Location: Kalamazoo, MI
