- Supporting cell-based bioassays and binding assays for biological characterization and testing of biopharmaceutical products
- Carrying out bioanalytical cell-based assay testing of recombinant protein therapeutics
- Assisting in the identification and evaluation of new technologies
- Making detailed observations, analyzing data, interpreting results, and exercising appropriate technical discretion in the design and execution of experiments
- Performing cell culture, maintaining cell lines, and performing routine lab equipment maintenance
- Presenting results at internal meetings
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Good time management, outstanding multi-tasking abilities, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Good documentation skills
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, with 1-4 years of relevant experience working with cell-based assays in an industry environment
- Prior experience with cell culture and in vitro assays, and their application in biological characterization for biologics
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
