Analytical Biochemist Group Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supervise others in performing client’s service requirements
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Foster motivation and morale
• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
• Coach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience BS, 6-8 yrs exp; MS, 4-6 yrs exp; PhD, 0-2 yrs with leadership experience
• Analytical laboratory skills.
• Experience with the following: HPLC, UHPLC, and CE
• Collaborative personality and acute attention to detail.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication, organization, presentation, and technical writing skills.
  
  

• The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
