Facilities Technician Responsibilities Include
The ideal candidate would possess:
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.

Job Description
Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Technician to work with our Operations team in Easton, MD.
Facilities Technician Responsibilities Include
- Assist scientists and other laboratory employees in the general day-to-day operation of the laboratory equipment.
- Maintains storage (organize and inventory), ensures equipment/supplies are available and in good working order.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
- Set up rooms and test units for studies.
- May handle regulated materials, potential biohazard materials, and toxic chemicals using proper labeling and dilution.
- Perform grounds maintenance including, but not limited to, mowing, removal of leaves, landscape maintenance, snow and ice removal, maintenance of driveways and parking areas.
- Assist with janitorial duties including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning, sanitizing, restocking supplies, emptying trashcans, and maintaining janitorial equipment.
- Completes cleaning, maintenance, and assigned tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Communicates effectively and regularly with supervisor regarding timelines, project completion, and any issues that may arise.
- Completes documentation legibly, timely, and accurately according to all regulatory requirements.
- Maintains and completes equipment logbooks.
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Solid organizational skills.
- Good customer service.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
