Description
We are seeking a Registered Architect (RA) based in Florida to collaborate with our architectural and engineering team on a per-project basis. The role focuses on reviewing, validating, and approving architectural documents, ensuring compliance with the Florida Building Code and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate architectural drawings and construction documents to ensure compliance with the Florida Building Code and local regulations.
- Provide professional approval and sign-off on architectural and structural documentation.
- Offer technical expertise in evaluating reports, drawings, and designs for residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors) to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- (Optional/Future) Review and approve drawings for remodeling, renovations, and residential alterations (e.g., wall modifications, repair projects).
Requirements
- Registered Architect (RA) in Florida, or eligible for registration through the NCARB Certificate.
- Residency in Florida (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 5 years of experience working on remodeling projects.
- Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam; experience with SketchUp, Lumion, and/or Enscape.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
