Overview
Euro-Wall LLC is hiring a Buyer to support purchasing, vendor management, and inventory flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to keeping operations running efficiently while driving cost savings and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders based on ERP/MRP demand
- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Expedite orders and resolve shortages to avoid production delays
- Build supplier relationships and negotiate cost savings
- Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and assist with invoice discrepancies
- Support internal teams and handle office supply receiving/distribution
Must-Have Qualifications
- 1 year of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
- Experience working in an ERP/MRP system
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic negotiation and vendor communication experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Nice-to-Have
- Manufacturing or MRO purchasing experience
- Experience with systems like Odoo or Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong cost-savings/negotiation track record
- Inventory control or cycle count experience
- Familiarity with supplier performance metrics (QCDD)
Work Environment
- On-site role across office, production, and stockroom
- May lift up to 40 lbs as needed
