Hours & Pay:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• No Weekends!
• Starting at $17.00/hour
• 40 Hours/week

About the Position:

The Facilities Custodian & Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing cleaning, maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the Euro Motorworks property, including the shop, offices, restrooms, and exterior areas. This is a full-time, year-round position with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

This position requires someone who can work independently, take ownership of their responsibilities, identify problems, and complete work with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Driving records will be reviewed periodically for insurance purposes
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in custodial maintenance, handyman work, building maintenance, or a position with comparable responsibilities is preferred but not required
• Ability to remain on your feet and physically active for most of the workday
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds and handle awkward items
• Ability to safely use common hand tools and basic equipment required to perform the job
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attendance and dependability

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of shop and office areas, including restrooms
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and operate floor cleaning equipment in shop areas
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shop and office areas
• Monitor inventory and purchase cleaning and building maintenance supplies as needed
• Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs, including ceiling tiles, door hardware, restroom fixtures, lighting, and building finishes
• Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems
• Identify maintenance and repair needs and communicate issues to management
• Perform painting and touch-up work with attention to detail
• Safely and properly use hand tools and other equipment needed to complete assigned work
• Perform light grounds maintenance, including collecting trash, removing weeds from sidewalk areas, and using a leaf blower
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance-related tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional environment throughout the property
• Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts from local vendors
• Drive customers' vehicles as needed, in accordance with company procedures, to assist technicians with extended test drives and vehicle verification.
