Overview
Are you a skilled and dedicated auto mechanic with at least 5 years of experience? Do you live in San Diego and have a passion for working with vehicles? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a skilled ASE Certified Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various automotive repair tasks and a passion for delivering high-quality service to customers.
Responsibilities
- MUST be ASE Certified (Automotive Service Excellence)
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
- Conduct engine tune-ups to ensure proper vehicle performance
- Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed
- Utilize power tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly
- Stay updated on the latest industry techniques and technologies
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an auto mechanic
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Knowledge in diesel repairs, automotive diagnostics, powertrain systems, and automotive electrical systems
- Experience working as an automotive mechanic with a focus on european vehicles is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use a variety of power tools effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally and courteously
