Come grow your career with Eurest.Job SummaryAs a Controller you will be responsible for the accounting activity within an assigned account(s) and assisting the Senior Controller with all aspects of the financial activities that occur within the region. This position is hybrid, based in Seattle, WA (three in-office days, two remote per week). Key Responsibilities:Perform transactional bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including preparation, and posting of journal entries, general ledger allocations, and maintenance of financial recordsSupport core accounting functions such as monthly and quarterly close processes, including accruals, billing, account reconciliations, and detailed balance sheet and P&L reviews to ensure accuracy and complianceAnalyze financial results for both internal and external useTrack, maintain, reconcile, and review monthly P/L and balance sheet activity, resolving any accounting/reconciliation issuesDevelop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunitiesComplete financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting; manages report preparation and distributionExecute project-based and process improvement work under the direction of management, contributing to ad hoc assignments, financial analyses, and operational efficiency initiativesProactively identify opportunities to improve financial workflows and processes, and communicate findings to management to support decision-making, automation efforts, and strategic finance goalsPerform related duties and special projects as assigned Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial reporting, revenue analysis, and supporting month-end close processes, with a strong understanding of general accounting practices and financial systemsAccounting experience in foodservice requiredAbility to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analysesAdept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes as well as analyzing moderately complex financial informationExcellent verbal and written communication skills; committed and enthusiastic approach to delivering solutions to business customersAbility to multi-task between various priorities in an ever-changing environmentExcellent problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skillsComputer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel.
