Job Summary

All Special Ed substitute paras are eligible for a $300 bonus after working 60 days in a Special Ed Para position during the 2025-26 school year. For each 60 days you work in a Special Ed Para position, you will be eligible for another $300 during the 2025-26 school year - for a total of $900 for 180 days.

Requirements / Qualifications

Resume (include with application) Valid CPR/First Aid Certification Must meet one of the following: 1.Pass the Paraprofessional Proficiency test 2. Possess 48 units of college coursework 3. Possess an AA Degree 4. Have passed the CBEST

If the Paraprofessional / Teacher’s Aide exam is required, then a tutorial to assist you in preparing for the Paraprofessional / Teacher’s Aide exam is available if needed.
