Asphalt Plant Operator – Newtown/Chalfont

Eureka Stone Quarry is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator. Asphalt Plant Operators are responsible for supervising daily activities at the Hot Asphalt Plant. Successful candidates may at times have to operate plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations of the asphalt plant and the safety of the employees
• Must be able capable of troubleshooting plant operational problems
• Maintain and repair any equipment at the plant
• Order all necessary supplies for plant production
• Meet daily production goals that are set by the company
• Successful scheduling of plant employees to meet the daily goals
• Operate plant equipment such as Front end loaders, Skid steers, and Plant trucks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of Plant Operations of a Hot Asphalt Mix Plant
• Solid mechanical skills to perform general maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and Random Drug testing
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean driving record
