Purpose of the Position
Representing the brand at first point of contact, Greeters are a very important part of the The Amalfi Llama experience. Greet all guests with personal style, seat all guests in a professional and friendly manner, handle all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and helpful manner, maintain a clean entrance and Greeter area, model The Amalfi Llama retail merchandise, and greet all potential guests walking by. This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to others in management.

- Fast foot speed and ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment
- Genuine friendliness – greeting all guests and co-workers in such a way to make them feel welcome (i.e., a warm smile, saying hello and goodbye, thanking guests)
- Adhere to The Amalfi Llama policies (i.e., dress code)
- Memorize food, drink and rotating menus on a daily basis
- Respond to guest questions accurately and in a friendly, enthusiastic tone
- Calculate and quote accurate wait times
- Sanitize all tables and chairs/booths prior to seating
- Seat all guests providing both menus and flatware
- Assist Servers in bussing tables
- Carry drinks to the table for guests being seated from the bar
- Maintain Greeter desk and surrounding area in an orderly fashion
- Efficiently Operate the POS system
- Execute proper food and drink placement at tables
- Polish and roll silverware
- Bus tables throughout the restaurant and set tables to The Amalfi Llama Standards
- Thank all departing guests and asking them to return
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- TAM/ Alcohol Awareness Card
- Food Handler Safety Training Card
