Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Basic computer and math skills. The specialized knowledge to control food portions / recipes to predetermined standards. The ability to communicate in English with customers and all levels of employees and management. Maturity. A Positive attitude is vital.
Physical: Body Positions: Prolonged periods of standing, bending stretching, and reaching to prepare menu items. Body Movements: the agility to move through congested storage areas. The ability to carry 35 pounds. Ability to move quickly and safely in a crowded kitchen. Ability to work on wet, slippery floors. Work is performed primarily in the food preparation area where conditions are congested and hot. Attendance: You are hired based upon your availability. Weekend and evening work is required. Must come to work on time, when scheduled, in a clean uniform and neatly groomed. Measures of Performance: Safety, quality policies, recipes, portions and all prodedures are adhered to constantly. In accordance with Act 593 of the AR “Medical Marijuana” law, an occupation working with food &/or operating a motor vehicle is considered a safety sensitive position. Performance under the influence of any drug (prescription or otherwise) may constitute a threat to health or safety, so the ability to work in a constant state of alertness & in a safe manner is required.
