Job Summary
The Assistant Maintenance Technician's role is to maintain the facilities for Eureka Multifamily Group's Properties, including but not limited to the property grounds and common areas in the best possible condition. The Assistant Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. They ensure that heating and plumbing systems perform at optimum functionality, the installations HVAC and, the upkeep of the landscape.

Essential Job Functions
- Make and/or assists with general appliance repairs, carpet repairs and minor A/C and electrical repairs.
- Performs and/or assist with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties.
- Installs appliances and electrical fixtures as required.
- Move appliances, with assistance, using an appliance dolly
- Assist lead maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
- Participates in an ongoing property improvement plan and preventative maintenance program.
- Adheres to and complies with company safety policies and rules. Adheres to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for safe job performance.
- Walking property to inspect grounds for any issues that need to be addressed and making repairs and reporting to management immediately.
- Other duties as assigned.
