Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Community Manager with day-to-day operations of the property.
- Support leasing efforts by showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease documents.
- Maintain accurate resident records, including leases, renewals, and delinquencies.
- Handle resident relations professionally and work to ensure high resident satisfaction.
- Process rent payments, deposits, and collections in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with preparing monthly financial and occupancy reports.
- Help oversee maintenance requests, vendor coordination, and property inspections.
- Enforce community policies, lease terms, and compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Provide leadership and support to the leasing and maintenance teams in the manager's absence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily property management or a related role.
- Experience with conventional apartment communities required.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Knowledgeable of AppFolio
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.
