Role Description
This part-time Assistant Football Coach role is an on-site position based in Eureka, IL. Responsibilities include assisting in planning and implementing coaching strategies, guiding athletes during training sessions and competitions, and fostering team motivation and sportsmanship. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in administrative tasks, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, and ensuring adherence to team values and institutional policies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Football Coaching, including game strategies, player development, and team management.
- Strong Coaching and training skills to mentor athletes and foster their physical and mental growth.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with players, coaching staff, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge and passion for football, including its rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to uphold professionalism, sportsmanship, and a commitment to developing student-athletes.
- Previous coaching experience at high school, college, or club levels is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desirable, with additional certifications or licenses in coaching considered a plus.
