Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks and managing bar operations efficiently. Your ability to handle cash, manage time effectively, and maintain a clean and organized workspace will contribute to our guests' overall experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions to provide recommendations to guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as necessary.
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and work areas regularly to maintain a safe environment.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders promptly and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as needed, contributing to the overall success of the establishment.
- Prepare and serve simple food menu items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Small Games of Chance experience is welcomed but not required.
