EG Labs is Eurasia Group’s incubator for innovative political risk analytics. The Lab develops products, techniques, and technologies that leverage current advances in political science, research methods, and emerging technologies to offer commercial applications at the intersection of politics, economics, and markets.

We are seeking a Fellow to join the EG Labs team. The Fellow will provide methodological guidance and project management on political-risk projects and political-risk product development. The Fellow will also perform in-depth research and will write both short analyses and longer research papers.

The ideal candidate for this position will have some interest and preferably training and/or experience in comparative politics and political economy. The Fellow’s responsibilities require extensive quantitative-research and/or data science training, significant social-sciences research experience, and the ability to analyze global political issues, cross-national issues, and their economic and strategic implications for our clients.

We are seeking a candidate with at least an MA in political science, economics, data science, or a relevant field (PhD preferred). A minimum of two of relevant work experience is required. Some project management experience and familiarity with risk management concepts are a plus, but not required. Applications from more senior applicants are also welcomed.
