Practice Head, Retail, Consumer & Branding (London, NY, DC)

Eurasia Group, the world's top political risk management firm, is looking for a senior, high-caliber professional to lead its Retail, Consumer & Branding Practice.

Companies see acute risks and rare opportunities from politics around the globe. As businesses invest and operate globally, the ability to foresee and manage political risks becomes critical.  The need to understand how politics can impact strategy, risk management and operational decision-making is particularly acute for firms within the industrials and supply chain space.

As Eurasia Group’s Practice Head, Retail, Consumer & Branding, you will be responsible for supporting and expanding the firm’s research and analysis in this space in collaboration with Eurasia Group’s platform of regional and country specialists. Combining the rich knowledge base of our research platform with your authoritative expertise, analytical skills and assertiveness, you will work closely with top global clients to help them navigate uncertainty and develop solutions that turn political risks into unique opportunities.
 

You will also help build Eurasia Group’s client leadership and expertise in that industry, forge long-lasting, trust-based client relationships and deliver tailored solutions to top healthcare companies around the world.  Combining the rich knowledge base of Eurasia Group’s research platform of country analysts with your authoritative expertise, analytical skills and assertiveness, you will work closely with top global clients to help them navigate uncertainty and develop solutions that turn political risks into unique opportunities.

Responsibilities
 **Advance our research, analysis and business insights on core RCB issues, such the politics of branding and reputation, consumer safety regulations, health & wellness and tax policy, in collaboration with our regional and country analysts

**Structure and develop tailored client solutions, business insights and recommendations

**Lead top client projects, including scope development, delivery, team management and client relationship management

**Develop and deliver effective client presentations, workshops, briefings and public speaking

**Lead and grow Eurasia Group’s portfolio of clients in RCB

Qualifications
 **Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy or related field

**Proven expertise and experience on international trade and global supply chains; policy-related experience a plus

**Experience in prospecting, leading and managing a portfolio of clients and senior client executives

**Proven problem-solving and analytical/quantitative skills

**Proven ability to independently manage projects and teams

**Eligibility to work in the US and/or the UK
