Position Overview
Euphoria Smoke Shop is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier / Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing transactions, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and helping create a welcoming environment for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately.
- Verify identification and ensure compliance with all age-restricted product laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and follow cash handling procedures.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and replenish merchandise as needed.
- Keep the sales floor, counters, and store areas clean and presentable.
- Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations when appropriate.
- Assist with inventory counts and receiving shipments.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Support team members and management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
