About the role
The Vice President of Strategic Pricing and Contract Management is a key executive leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s commercial strategy across its aviation, ground handling, as well as facility services operations in commercial cleaning. This role ensures profitability, compliance, and competitive advantage through the development of robust pricing models, contract governance frameworks, and negotiation standards that deliver sustainable growth.
The VP will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, and procurement teams to secure optimal contract terms, strengthen client and vendor relationships, and safeguard company margins while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by leading RFPs processes from opportunity identification through submission as the preferred provider for commercial cleaning (Facility division) and ground handling services (Aviation division).
What you’ll do
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute commercial, pricing, and contract strategies aligned with company growth and profitability goals.
- Ensure pricing models accurately reflect market conditions, operational costs, and strategic positioning within the aviation (ground handling) and commercial cleaning divisions.
Contract & Negotiation Management
- Lead and oversee high-value contract negotiations with airlines, airport authorities, and strategic partners.
- Establish trusted relationships with procurement teams to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Ensure all customer and vendor contracts comply with company standards, legal requirements, and risk thresholds.
Proposal & Bid Excellence
- Direct the preparation of competitive, compliant, and profitable proposals and tenders.
- Standardize proposal formats and pricing methodologies to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Review major bids and renewals to ensure alignment with commercial objectives for both aviation and facility services divisions.
Governance & Standardization
- Implement standardized templates, approval workflows, and contract lifecycle management processes.
- Maintain governance over pricing assumptions, escalation models, and commercial risk management.
Market & Financial Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and cost structures to inform strategy and maintain competitive positioning.
- Support financial forecasting and margin analysis to guide executive decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations to align commercial activities with business goals.
- Support procurement and operations teams in optimizing cost control and service delivery efficiency.
Margin & Performance Optimization
- Monitor contract performance and post-award profitability.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance margins and mitigate risk exposure.
Leadership
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of pricing analysts and contract managers.
- Foster a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, and accountability across all commercial functions.
Ideal candidate profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering required.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- 12–15 years of progressive leadership in pricing, contract management, or commercial strategy, ideally within ground handling services, facility services, or related B2B service industries.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multimillion-dollar negotiations and long-term service agreements.
- Experience implementing pricing analytics tools or contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
This is largely a sedentary role and requires being able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally, the person in this position is required to move/traverse inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. The person in this position regularly communicates with others in person, by phone, or by correspondence. This position will also require walking across the airport/services for auditing reasons.
