Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will safely deliver household appliances to customers while providing excellent customer service. Drivers work independently, follow assigned delivery routes, and ensure every delivery is completed safely and on time.
This is a physically active position that requires lifting and moving appliances weighing 60 lbs or more. Once you have successfully completed your assigned deliveries for the day, your workday is finished.
Pay: Weekly
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 16–26 ft box truck while following all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Deliver appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, and other household appliances to residential and commercial customers.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload appliances safely to prevent damage.
- Work as part of a two-person delivery team when required.
- Lift, move, and maneuver appliances weighing 60 lbs or more, using dollies, straps, and other moving equipment.
- Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Inspect the delivery truck before and after each route and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Keep the truck clean and organized.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery updates, delays, or customer concerns.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop.
- Please note: This position is delivery and installation for some appliances . Drivers are not responsible for installing microwaves or dishwashers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience driving a box truck or delivery vehicle preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus but not required if applicable).
- Ability to safely lift and carry 60 lbs or more throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required.
