Job Summary
Kingsport Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Care Representative to join our team. This position works under the general supervision of the Center Manager and is responsible for providing excellent front-office support in a medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions with patients
- Manage computerized appointment scheduling both via telephone and in person
- Accurately enter over-the-counter charges and payments
- Handle patient registration and certification of demographics
- Verify patient information at each scheduled appointment
- Set up and maintain medical records
- Assist in retrieving and filing medical records as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years of CPT and ICD-10 coding and data entry experience, preferred but not required
- One year of coding and data entry experience in a healthcare organization, preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $16.77 per hour
