What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at ETS?
Job Location: In-Person, $23/Hour, Early Morning Shift (3am start time), Monday-Friday, Full-Time
Our client is a long-standing transportation and logistics company, and they want dedicated and skilled individuals like you to join their team as a Forklift Operator!
Your day-to-day as a Forklift Operator:
- Efficiently sort, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other manual/material-handling equipment
- Handle a variety of products while adhering to all safety protocols and operational procedures
- Maintain organization and flow of materials within a compact facility
- Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and supplies
Your skills and experience:
- Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift (certification provided onsite)
- Ability to adhere to a strict attendance policy to meet scheduling demands
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Physical capability to work in a non-temperature-controlled facility, and lift freight up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally
- Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
