Optometrist (OD) This family owned organization is currently looking for a full time Optometrist to travel to assisted living facilities in the Chicago area 3 weeks out of the month and central Illinois for 1 week a month. They do not just push glasses sales - you will be diagnosing, treating, and co-managing ocular disease and vision disorders. Excellent compensation and work/life balance with no evenings or weekends. Travel time is based on your proximity to the communities they serve; some days your commute could be 10 minutes, and others about 1 hour. You get to head home after your last exam is completed, so it's up to you and how quickly you work. Many of their ODs are finished by 1 or 2 p.m. each day. Overview:
