Maintenance Assistant – Etowah Landing
$15.00 per hour
(1 day/week, with potential for additional hours based on Center needs)

Etowah Landing is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to support our Maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with practical maintenance skills looking for flexible, part-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general repair tasks, including fixing doors, locks, door frames, handles, and replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, and window glass.

• Handle basic plumbing work such as unclogging drains and repairing leaking faucets or toilets.

• Inspect electrical panels and wiring for issues that require immediate repair.

• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report low stock to the Supervisor.

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and clean-up requests.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as general safety equipment.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
