System-Wide EL Teacher - Summer Reading/Math Camp
Provide academic assistance to ESL students by providing direct, explicit, and systematic reading instruction to improve any identified areas of reading deficiencies, particularly in K-3 reading instruction, as required by the Alabama Literacy Act. See the Job Attachment for a complete description.
Salary Range: $200/per day
2026 Summer Reading/Math Camp Dates:
- June 1-4
- June 8-11
- June 15-18
- June 22-25
Camp will run Monday through Thursday during June from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Qualifications: Valid AL Department of Education Teacher's Certificate, BS Degree or higher, endorsed in ESL Certification, grades K-6, multiple certifications preferred, or such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
