Position Summary

Eton Academy, an independent school dedicated to educating students who learn differently, is seeking a dynamic, kind, go-getter to serve as the next Director of the Hartmann-Eton Center for Teaching & Learning.  The Director reports to the Head of School & Center.  The Hartmann-Eton Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is an auxiliary program of Eton Academy.  Eton is committed to the education of students who learn differently.  Eton helps build essential skills and confidence that foster lifelong success.  At the CTL, the goal is to empower students, parents, teachers, and schools with tools and knowledge that foster school and life success.


The Director of the Hartmann-Eton Center of Teaching & Learning oversees the day-to-day operations of the CTL which includes promoting, developing, and managing Tutor Pro services, promoting, developing, and managing teacher training engagements with schools and organizations, paid consulting with individual families, and general promotions of the CTL in the community.   In addition, the Director of the CTL helps build and expand the CTL’s positive impact in the greater community thus strengthening Eton Academy’s brand as a leader in educating students who learn differently. 


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning disability and neurodivergent-focused education and has experience in teaching students with learning differences and coaching teachers in the areas of direct, explicit, systematic, and multisensory instruction.   In addition, the ideal candidate will have the ability to help organizations build systems and processes to maximize efficiencies in their organization.  Finally, the ideal candidate will have a track record of success managing a budget, supervising employees and  increasing enrollment.  


Salary range: $95 - $110,000 


The Ideal Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role leading a K-12 or higher education educational department, division, or business. 
  • Proven track record in providing superb oral and written communication skills, exceptional strategic and administrative abilities, as well as excellent planning and organizational development skills.
  • A consensus-builder and a thoughtful decision-maker.
  • Good business sense and an entrepreneurial spirit to help guide the financial aspects of the CTL. 
  • Highly organized.
  • Excel in presenting  and promoting.   
  • Team player with an impeccable reputation for operating with the highest integrity.  
  • Demonstrate, through their actions and words, a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with a successful track record of working with a diverse population.   
  • Highly attentive, responsive, pleasantly persistent, and flexible. 
  • Track record of successfully reaching measurable goals in a professional setting in the areas of student achievement, enrollment, revenue generation, and customer service.
