Corporate Financial Analyst

Etnyre is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate FP&A Financial Analyst to join our finance team in our Naperville office. This role plays a critical part in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering analytical insights that support key business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a solid accounting foundation, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards

Financial Analysis

• Perform variance analysis comparing actual results against budget and prior year
• Provide clear and actionable insights into key financial performance indicators

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Partner with business units to gather assumptions and financial inputs

Strategic Planning

• Contribute to long-term strategic planning initiatives
• Evaluate financial impacts of business decisions and initiatives
• Support both organic/global growth and inorganic growth strategies

Digital Transformation

• Support Etnyre’s digital transformation to modernize financial data capabilities
• Leverage AI, BI, and analytics tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

Cost Analysis

• Analyze and monitor costs to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize expenses

Forecast Modeling

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
• Continuously update models with actual data to improve accuracy

Business Partnering

• Serve as a strategic partner to departments across the organization
• Translate financial data into actionable business insights

Ad Hoc Analysis

• Conduct financial analysis to address business questions and challenges
• Provide recommendations to support decision-making

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance FP&A processes
• Improve efficiency and accuracy in financial planning activities​​​

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• MBA (or active progression toward an MBA) is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Experience with ERP systems (EPICOR preferred)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
