EthosEnergy is seeking an Engineer to support the Gas Turbine Product Line. This role oversees the execution of customer orders from intake through final reporting, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Engineer partners with the Shop Supervisor and technicians to deliver work aligned with customer and business requirements.
Qualified candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or repair shop environment, with preference for 5 years in turbomachinery repairs. Strong customer service, project planning experience, and proficiency with ERP systems are required. This position will require extra hours to support production schedules.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop, issue, and maintain shop work instructions (route tags).
- Review job releases and supporting documentation to define scope and requirements.
- Analyze prior job history and prepare incoming equipment inspection packages.
- Create and manage job details in ERP, including all internal and external operations.
- Verify drawings, specifications, and work instructions meet standards before issuing shop packages.
- Maintain a detailed cost workbook covering labor, materials, and subcontracted services for assigned jobs.
- Design and implement inspection forms as needed.
- Review inspection results to ensure compliance with EthosEnergy (EE) and OEM standards/specifications.
- Develop repair scopes based on inspection findings, including detailed cost estimates (labor, materials, subcontracting).
- Collaborate with Repair Engineers to validate technical scope and approach.
- Review estimated hours and costs with management, manufacturing, and Project Managers.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review project scope, document updates, and implement changes in ERP and cost workbooks.
- Initiate procurement of required parts, materials, and vendor services.
- Prepare RFQ estimates to support commercial teams and review with key stakeholders.
- Develop cost estimates for extra work authorizations and ensure proper documentation in workbooks and ERP systems.
- Support production schedules and deadlines, including extended hours when required.
- Identify process improvements and proactively expand knowledge of rotating equipment and repair methods.
- MS technology suite.
- Knowledge of a shop workflow, and the use of an ERP planning system to create production management documentation
- 5 years of direct experience in turbomachinery repairs is preferred.
- 2-3 years minimum in a manufacturing or repair shop environment.
- Customer relations and project planning experience are required.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
- BS in engineering is preferred, will consider years of experience, combined with education for this position.
- Certifications in CAD or PMP are a plus.
- Must be able to walk around large equipment as required to diagnose problems.
- Need to be able to lift 30 lbs regularly.
