This opportunity is ideal for Vet Techs looking for part-time or full-time hours while caring for hospitalized and critical patients in a specialty animal hospital.

Mass Vet is a Level 1 24-hour emergency/critical care and specialty veterinary hospital.

- $38-$45/hour for Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS)

- Flexible on number of shifts per week and days
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and critical care patients across ICU, Emergency, and Specialty services
- Monitor patient vitals, treatments, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly to attending clinicians
- Assist with advanced diagnostics, sample collection, medication administration, and dosage calculations
- Support care for postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, oncology patients, urgent care cases, and specialty referrals
- Triage critical patients and assist with stabilization and ongoing monitoring
- Provide compassionate client communication, including patient updates, education, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate closely with Emergency clinicians, specialists, and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to efficient daily hospital workflow
- 3 years of veterinary technician experience preferred; ICU, Emergency, or Critical Care experience strongly preferred
- CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred
- Strong technical nursing skills with confidence managing hospitalized and critical patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to patient care and hospital culture
- Desire to continue learning, growing clinical skills, and contributing to a supportive team environment
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
