Registered Veterinary Technician– Emergency
Location: Concord, CA
Compensation: $25–$40/hr (DOE) $5.50/hr for any hours worked between 6pm & 6am

What You’ll Do
As an Emergency RVT, you’ll play a vital role in patient care and client service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Triaging emergency patients and supporting clients throughout their visit
- Partnering with DVMs on assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples (blood, urine, aspirates, etc.)
- Assisting with imaging and advanced patient assessments
- Executing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia and sedation events
- Delivering consistent, high-quality nursing care
You’re a skilled and compassionate veterinary professional who:
- Holds a current and valid CA RVT license and has 2 years of ER/clinical experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Is proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, drug calculations, and patient handling
- Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues
- Values teamwork, continuous learning, and professional growth
