Position Overview
We are seeking motivated Master’s-level students to join our outpatient behavioral health team as Clinical Interns. This internship provides hands-on experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns.
Interns will provide services under the supervision of a licensed clinician and will receive both individual and group clinical exposure. This placement is designed to meet graduate-level practicum or internship requirements and must align with the intern’s academic program guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist clinician with documentation including but not limited to initial evaluation, biopsychosocial assessment, and treatment plans
- Provide individual counseling services under supervision depending on academic year and learning objectives
- Co-facilitate group therapy sessions with clinician
- Participate in individual and/or group supervision
- Adhere to all agency policies, ethical standards, and HIPAA regulations
- Weekly supervision
- Experience working with adolescents and adult populations
- Exposure to outpatient mental health and substance use treatment models
- Training in documentation standards
- Development of assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Opportunity to observe and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Eligible for practicum or internship placement per academic institution
- Ability to pass required background clearances
