Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines including batch and streaming
- Develop ETL and ELT workflows using modern data engineering best practices
- Build and maintain distributed data processing systems
- Partner with backend engineers to improve data ingestion and schema design
- Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization strategies
- Support machine learning and business intelligence initiatives
- Improve reliability, scalability, and security across the data platform
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Distributed Systems, or Software Engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Hands on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience optimizing large scale data processing systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Schema Registry, or Apache Iceberg
- Experience designing and operating stream processing systems
- Experience with data lakehouse architectures and ETL pipeline development
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
