Construction Project Manager
Location: State College, PA
Engagement: 6–12 Month Contract (Extension Possible)
Ethos Residential is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee renovation and capital improvement projects in State College, Pennsylvania. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing scope, schedule, cost, and coordination of multiple trades on active projects.
- Manage construction projects from planning through closeout
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
- Track project budgets, committed costs, change orders, and forecasts
- Review scopes of work, bids, contracts, and vendor agreements
- Manage material takeoffs, procurement, and delivery scheduling
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality
- Identify schedule or cost risks and implement corrective actions
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, logs, and cost reports
- Provide routine project status updates to ownership
- 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Experience with renovation projects and multi-trade coordination
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project (Gantt/CPM scheduling required)
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and cost control
- Ability to manage multiple projects and compressed schedules
- Proficiency with Excel and standard project documentation
- Multifamily or student housing renovations
- Occupied building projects
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania construction and inspection processes
- Initial term: 6–12 months
- Extension possible based on performance and project pipeline
- On-site presence required
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
