The Quality Systems and Documentation Coordinator will work out of our Brownwood Texas manufacturing facility, and report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare various documents related to agency requirements, in a standard format, tracking and maintaining documentation version control
· Provide oversight of document controls activities; ensure that quality of document controls deliverables meet expected standards
· Organize and maintain documents/filing system, adhering to the company's documentation procedures; log all documents in control system (filing system/protocol) as required
· Communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure that there is common knowledge of quality documentation requirements
· Maintain a strong understanding of the manufacturing process to develop procedures, create documentation and guidelines, and meet/adhere to regulatory standards, including SQF, CCPs, GMPs and FDA regulations as relates to the production facility
· Conduct training and issue proper processes to be followed by associates, as support of executed and prepared SSOPs
· Support customer complaint issues as well as issuing CAPAs (to internal parties) and SCARs (to external parties)
· Work with key stakeholders to understand production and quality assurance procedures and practices
· Document procedures for production, quality, and Co-Man processes to ensure quality and maintain compliance including SSOPs, HAACP, and cGMP compliance material
· Review existing processes to identify improvements/adjustments, make more scalable, and standardize
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to work with individuals across a wide variety of functional areas
· Strong technical writing and organizational skills
· Must have ability to prioritize, manage time well, troubleshoot and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening
· Must be eligible to work in the US
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Quality leadership experience and related documentation controls
· At least 3 – 5 years of experience in regulatory writing/documentation for food & beverage, manufacturing and/or similar industries
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
· Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs daily
· Ability to operate a computer and other office technology
· Ability to observe details at close range
· Must be able to work in area with exposure to loud noises
· Ability to work safely in areas with hazardous equipment and materials
· Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles including verbal and written mechanisms
· Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures
· Occasionally position self to access low spaces
