Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Olympia, WA. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing civil engineering designs, developing project plans, designing stormwater systems, and supporting overall project processes. The role will also involve collaboration with project managers, planners, and design teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for a variety of projects. Responsibilities include ensuring project compliance with regulations, estimating costs, and contributing to the successful execution of land development and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Civil Engineering Design and professional experience as a Civil Engineer
- Proven expertise in Planning and Project Development
- Experience with Stormwater Management systems and regulatory compliance
- Comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles, including water distribution, erosion control, and sanitary sewer design
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with the ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Proficiency in using civil engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in local engineering projects in the Pacific Northwest is an advantage
