What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSD Driver & Sales - Ritefill (Cooler) position at ETHNIX GROUP, LLC?
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Sales Driver to join our growing team in Birmingham, AL.
This is a sales and driving position where you will operate a company vehicle, visit our existing retail customers, deliver and sell our Hispanic ice cream products, and grow sales within your assigned territory.
You will also manage the inventory on your truck. This includes monitoring product levels, requesting additional inventory when needed, and ensuring that your truck has the products necessary to meet customer demand. You will be accountable for reporting missing, damaged, or inaccurate inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to assigned customer locations
- Deliver and sell ice cream products to gas stations, convenience stores, and mini-markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and introduce additional products
- Develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- Manage and monitor truck inventory
- Request additional products when inventory is low or additional products are needed
- Be accountable for inventory accuracy and report any missing, damaged, or incorrect products
- Load and organize products on the truck
- Merchandise and maintain products at customer locations
- Complete daily settlements, sales reports, and required documentation
- Meet established sales and KPI goals
- Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally
- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, safe, and organized condition
- Follow all company safety and operating procedures
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Sales, delivery, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable driving a company vehicle and working independently
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to manage inventory and complete basic calculations and reports
- Basic computer, smartphone, and tablet skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week
- Available to work weekends when scheduled
