Janitorial Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY & Staten Island, NY
Pay: $31.98 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | 16–20 Hours Per Week
Work Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (2–3 days per week)
Start Time: Routes begin at either 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, depending on the assigned route.

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to provide cleaning services at multiple U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Stations located throughout Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.
This position requires travel between recruiting stations and is ideal for an individual who can work independently, manage their assigned route efficiently, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, lobbies, hallways, and common areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floor surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Dust desks, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Clean windows, glass doors, and entryways
- Restock restroom and janitorial supplies
- Perform perimeter cleanup around facilities
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Maintain assigned facilities in a clean and professional condition
- Perform other janitorial duties as assigned
Requirements
- Reliable transportation is required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel between locations in Brooklyn and Staten Island
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Ability to report to the first assigned location at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, depending on the route
Additional Information
Employees are responsible for servicing multiple U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Stations throughout Brooklyn and Staten Island. Mileage, bridge tolls, and parking meter fees incurred while traveling between assigned work locations during the performance of the assigned route will be reimbursed. Travel between an employee's residence and their first or last assigned work location is considered normal commuting and is not reimbursable.
