Role details
- Location: Fishkill, NY
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour
- Employment Type: Temporary (potential temp-to-hire)
- Maintain plant cleanliness by removing raw materials and performing routine housekeeping
- Lift, carry, and stack concrete blocks weighing up to 50 pounds
- Support production with material handling and on-the-spot assistance where needed
- Operate a forklift when called upon (experience preferred; authorization required)
- Assist with straightforward maintenance and mechanical tasks under supervision
- Follow safety procedures rigorously and use PPE at all times
- Keep your station organized and hazard-free
- Consistent, safe performance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Comfort working amid heat, cold, dust, fumes, and loud noise
- Stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive gripping and grasping tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Readiness to become forklift-authorized; prior experience is a plus
- Mechanical curiosity and willingness to assist with basic maintenance
- Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude—especially for early mornings and Saturdays
- Compliance with dress code: steel-toe boots, jeans, and a solid-color shirt
