Electrical Test Engineer Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily testing operations within the electrical laboratory
- Lead, mentor, and support laboratory personnel
- Develop, improve, and validate testing procedures, specifications, and equipment
- Perform electrical testing and verify compliance with engineering and customer requirements
- Analyze test results and prepare technical reports and recommendations
- Support and maintain automated testing and data acquisition systems
- Troubleshoot product, equipment, and testing issues
- Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, and Operations teams
- Train personnel on testing methods, equipment operation, and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product testing and laboratory efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of electrical testing, engineering, or laboratory experience
- Experience working with electrical test equipment, including:
- Oscilloscopes
- LCR Meters
- Impedance Analyzers
- Calipers and Micrometers
- Experience with LabVIEW and/or automated data acquisition systems strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze data and communicate findings effectively
- Experience supporting manufacturing, product development, or quality initiatives is a plus
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods such as SPC, DOE, and capability studies is beneficial
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
