Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues on small engines, including golf carts, lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, and other outdoor power equipment
- Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and schematics to restore equipment to optimal condition
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups to extend equipment lifespan
- Utilize electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot wiring problems and electrical system failures
- Repair or replace engine components including carburetors, pistons, valves, and electrical systems in diesel and gasoline engines
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair status clearly to customers or team membersQualifications
- Experience or service technician background in small engine repair or automotive repair is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in engine repair, equipment repair, and vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, welding, soldering.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently and safely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Ability to drive a work vehicle to on site calls
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
